Caremark National Operations Manager nominated for Homecare Association Board

Harinder Dhami is hoping to be elected at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 13th October 2021 at the Birmingham NEC.

Harinder the National Operations Manager for franchisor Caremark Ltd, supports 120 offices providing care and support at home, to their local communities, across the UK. Her role is primarily to offer direction and to ensure safe services to the service users and to formulate strategies for the organisation on areas dictated by the constraints within the social care sector.

Harinder said: “I would like to be elected to the Board of the Homecare Association (formally the UKHCA) as I feel that I can share valuable experiences, helping to highlight and help formulate solutions to overcome current and potential future challenges which the sector faces. 

I am passionate about ensuring that people can make valuable choices to their day to day and their care needs and ensuring that they are enabled to live a full and meaningful life, no matter their age or any disability they may have, in their own homes.

As we are all aware care workers have a difficult but rewarding role and myself and the wider team at Caremark Ltd are committed to highlighting the importance of their role in society overall.

I would like to showcase this sector so that the role of a care worker is attractive to others that may not have felt that care work is for them.” 

If elected to the board, her role will be to help formulate strategic aims and bring her skills and extensive experience for the benefit of the association and its members.
